Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is widely praised as an incredible, educational, and beautiful place to experience Indonesia's diverse cultures in a single day. Visitors love the detailed replicas, the cable car views, and the enchanting night fountain show. While vast and requiring significant walking or internal transport, it's considered a must-visit in Jakarta for its unique blend of fun and learning.
"What an incredible place! You can literally travel all over Indonesia in one day. The houses, the museums, and the gardens are beautiful. It's a fantastic educational experience for both kids and adults. I highly recommend taking the cable car to get a bird's-eye view of the entire park, especially the miniature archipelago in the lake. Definitely a must-visit in Jakarta. We will be back for sure!"

"It’s a great concept but unfortunately I feel like the experience falls short for foreign tourists. The signs are not in English so it was challenging to navigate. I think if you k ow the language, it’s a nice experience. We went on Wednesday 11am and was told there’s no buggy rental at the time. It’s a lot to walk and the temperature was close to 100°F so we didn’t get to spend too much time there. The cable car was good to see how vast the area is, however, you miss some of the structures because of the trees. For me, it wasn’t worth the 45+ minutes drive since I only have about 48hrs in the city. Maybe if you’re coming with more time and can handle the walk, might be good."
