Still the best local park in Jakarta to enjoy by myself
Hi OP, pls try Tebet EcoPark. For now it's still very crowded (especially on weekend) but honestly I am very happy with this small park in the middle of South Jakarta. Quite nice change if we compare usual view in Jakarta (tall buildings & lots of malls everywhere).

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tebet Eco Park is a highly appreciated green oasis in Jakarta, lauded for its refreshing atmosphere, jogging paths, and the charming presence of resident cats. Visitors enjoy the connecting bridge and the family-friendly south side, though some note that restroom cleanliness and litter management could be improved, especially during busy weekends.
"Tebet Eco Park is a great green space in the city ideal for jogging, walking, or just relaxing. If you’re here for a jog, head to the north side of the park. It’s quieter with fewer kids and families, so it’s more comfortable for runners.
The south side is more popular for families since it has playgrounds and areas for pets. However, it gets really crowded on weekends, and unfortunately, the playground area lacks enough trash bins. As a result, there’s often trash scattered around, which takes away from the experience.
Also, the toilets could use better maintenance—cleanliness and upkeep should definitely be improved, especially with the number of weekend visitors.
Overall, it’s a much-needed public space with potential, but better facilities and cleanliness would make it even more enjoyable."

"Beautiful park, nice for walks or jogging, having a meal or picnic and also observing local life. There is an open air prayer hall where you can see people praying - interesting if you haven't had much exposure to Islam. Sometimes there are shows and street musicians playing, too. Many friendly and adorable cats haha. Lots of street food and good quality cafes nearby. One of my favorite places in Jakarta. Recommended!"
