What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Tegallalang Glass Bridge a thrilling experience with stunning views, perfect for unique photos. However, the high entrance fee is a significant drawback for many, with some finding the overall experience and facilities less developed than expected.
"The glass bridge is great… the swing is good too and you can get a lot of lovely pictures too, staff will help you to get nice pictures, also the waterfall is great and very close no driving needed to get there …."

"A surprising place where to walk in a transparent bridge, having the impression to fly over the valley. Unfortunately, due to the material, it is subject to lots of reflection from the sky above. I had the luck of being almost alone (probably due to the 250k entrance fee!). You have to wear special socks to step on.
The place is fun, but if you are a family, I could understand that the price is somewhat discouraging. You better have a delicious Balinese meal or a hotel night with that money."

"Not worth the hype
Went with some friends and it was honestly a waste of time. It’s a long drive to get there, and when you arrive, there’s not much to see or do. The bridge is way smaller than it looks in photos, and the whole place feels kind of unfinished—construction materials lying around, no food or drinks available, and the bathrooms were dirty and smelled bad. On top of that, it’s super overpriced and the staff didn’t seem to care at all. Wouldn’t go back."

🚇 🗺️ Getting There

Yes, it's a considerable distance from Denpasar Airport (DPS). Expect a journey of about 1.5 to 2 hours by car, depending on traffic. It's often combined with other attractions in the Ubud area.
While ride-sharing apps like Grab and Gojek operate in Bali, their availability and willingness to go to more remote locations like the glass bridge can be inconsistent. Hiring a driver for the day is often more reliable.

📸 📸 Photography
The best photo opportunities are right on the glass bridge itself, looking down into the valley or towards the surrounding greenery. Staff can also help you get dynamic shots.
The glass surface can cause reflections from the sky, which might make photography a bit challenging at times. Visiting during less direct sunlight can help.
Regulations on professional cameras and drones can vary. It's best to check with the management on-site or beforehand to avoid any issues.
Some staff members offer personalized photo and video services for an additional fee, helping you capture memorable moments.
Early mornings or late afternoons during the golden hour offer softer light and potentially fewer crowds, leading to better photographic conditions.
🍽️ 🍽️ Food & Dining
Unfortunately, many reviews indicate a lack of food and drink options directly at the glass bridge site. It's recommended to eat before or after your visit.
The surrounding area, particularly near the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, offers several cafes and restaurants serving Balinese cuisine.
It's generally advisable to check the specific rules regarding outside food and drinks, but it's often better to dine at designated eateries.
You can find local Balinese dishes, Indonesian favorites, and some international options in the cafes and restaurants near the rice terraces.
