What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ubud Center is celebrated for its vibrant cultural heart, stunning natural beauty, and serene atmosphere. Visitors rave about the delicious food, rejuvenating spa experiences, and the unique shopping opportunities at the art market. However, some find the market items repetitive, and traffic can be a concern.
"If you’re in Ubud and love local shopping, the Ubud Outdoor Market is a great spot to explore! It’s full of colorful stalls selling everything from handmade bags, sarongs, and dresses to wood carvings, souvenirs, and local crafts.
The prices are cheaper compared to shops in touristy areas, but you definitely need to bargain! Vendors usually quote higher prices expecting you to negotiate, so don’t hesitate to politely counter. With some smart bargaining, you can get great deals."

"I think I’m going against the grain here when I say I didn’t like the market. Everything is almost the same across shops and the items on sale did not seem like something I personally would want to buy. I could not help but compare it to items available in my country and think that we do get similar things of more variety with better prices (notwithstanding the bargaining). We did walk the length and breadth of the market but did not find anything to purchase. Better luck to all of you out there!"

"Ubud Outdoor Market is a vibrant and colorful hub of local culture and craftsmanship. From handmade jewelry and traditional textiles to art, spices, and souvenirs, there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, and the vendors are friendly and open to bargaining. It’s a great place to support local artisans and find unique gifts. A must-visit for anyone exploring the heart of Ubud!"
