What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Umbul Temple offers a unique blend of natural hot springs and ancient history, providing a relaxing experience amidst scenic rice fields. Visitors appreciate the affordable entry and the warm, therapeutic waters. However, some reviews mention concerns about the cleanliness of the pools and facilities, particularly during peak times.
"Located in the village and very far from the city center, this is the best place to have a great relaxation. They have sulfur pool with an old temple. You can learn about history yet swimming in the pool. But unfortunately, the water is a little bit dirty for me. Make sure to come here not in the weekend, because it will be very crowded in the weekend."

"The great place to immerse yourself into natural hot spring water. Located in the middle of rice fields with the mountain panoramic view will spoil you to enjoy this ancient Hindu's temple. Two medium pools with warm clear water are perfect to enjoy during the rainy season. The entrance ticket is very reasonable less than 10.000 IDR. The only things that the management should improve are the cleanliness of the area, the toilets and the changing rooms. A small cafe is inside the area and some are just near by the entrance gate. Perfect to visit in the morning ."
