"This place has been under construction for over 20 years now and still is not fully done. A vast area in the heart of Iran's capital which is supposed to be dedicated to mass Friday and Eid prayers. Even at these events it hardly ever is used to its maximum capacity. Still to this day it remains mostly unused as the weekly Friday prayer's are mostly held elswhere.
The government has forced the much loved annual Tehran's book festival to move to this location which is the only time most people may visit here."
