Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Anne Valley Walk's beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, and accessibility, calling it a well-maintained, peaceful escape. The community's efforts in creating and preserving the walk are frequently praised, though some find the latter half less visually engaging than the first. The payoff at Annestown Beach, however, makes the entire journey worthwhile.

"Note this is the half way point. And you can see the castle from here

Beautiful walk with the calmest birds Ive ever come across. I love the progressive nature of this walk and the sustainable water project - local land owners and the community working together, we can only hope that as the years go on this walk is expanded, both in length and in breath across the valley.

The walk itself is flat and well maintained, you could do it it light enough shoes and not have any bother. The first half from Dunhill town to the castle is the best with the most nature the second half is a little more boring but the payoff when you reach the beach makes it worth it.

I cant rate this walk high enough and I encourage more people to go there and check it out. Pro tip -if you go up to the castle you can go down the hill on the other side and not have to retrace your steps."
