Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Ballinesker Beach's vast, soft golden sands and its suitability for long walks and dog-friendly fun. The connection to 'Saving Private Ryan' adds a unique historical dimension. However, parking can be a significant issue during peak times, and some amenities are seasonal.

"Very wide beach, with nice sand. There is plenty of space where you can sit. There is a lifeguard on the beach during the summer months. Car parking is a big problem in good weather. It should be bigger; that is why only 4 stars. Toilets are next to the car park, plus a coffee truck."

"Excellent. Must visit beach. Kids had a good fun and we enjoyed sunshine and beach. There is a after sea bathing facility to wash the sands before get into the car in the car park. Very helpful."

sandun chandrasoma

"Both this and curracloe beach join to make one long beach. Its as good as you are going to get in Ireland. I live 4 hours from there but plan to go back in a few weeks. It is astounding. Pure golden beaches where you can walk your dog anytime. It is so relaxing there. Hundreds of sea shells to look at or pick and so many people who are totally relaxed just walking along... or lying down getting a tan. There is a life guard tower there. A good few of them. Not always manned . The sand is so soft.. I could go on and on about it. If you love beaches you need to visit it.... you won't be disappointed. My dog loved it there too and made friends with so many dogs. One in particular as seen on video."
