"Very cute area, great walkable trails nearby. I considered skipping and am glad I didn't. We met some local Irish who insisted we did Glen Beach / Brides Head walk, (which I was going to cut out for time but they convinced us). It was lovely!"
A J (Lexi)
"Well worth a visit. Wicklow Town is lovely anyway, but the views from the Black Castle are stunning. To the right of the castle is a small sandy cove where St. Patrick first landed in 435 or so. There is a notice board explaining the history from the first Bronze Age settlement here, though to the Viking Fort, then the Norman Castle that is The Black Castle. Very beautiful place with great views of Wicklow atiwn and coastline."

"It’s a spot in Wicklow town. Has a small cliff, history behind it, and a beautiful view. For me it was breath taking.
You can go there to read, just stand there and see, breathe fresh air, enjoy nature and Ireland, or take a walk."
