"Today was magical! Dog lovers will be thrilled to watch the skills of the sheepdogs here. It was so much fun! My adult children gave this experience to me for a major birthday, and it was perfect. It's also great for families. There is a sheltered area to watch the demonstration, and an opportunity afterward to meet the sheepdogs. I loved it! Everyone was super nice and welcoming."

"We did the sheepdog experience and it was AWESOME!! We met the dogs - got a very good explanation by their shepherd of how they train them from puppies- he was personable and funny and the whole experience was adorable.
There was also some explanation on sheep herding and types and varieties of sheep that we found valuable since we have been avidly photographing sheep all this trip. Overall very cool place: do not miss if in this area. Last dog demo was at 2 pm but it starts a bit after so you have time to shuffle to the viewing are after purchasing your ticket. There is a very cute cafe there and they sell their crafted cheese (have not tasted yet). Wish they made their dog exhibit magnets - we didn’t visit the fort: separate ticket for that!"

"What an unexpected surprise. I showed up on a whim doing a drive around the area. I thought I'd possibly see a sheep demonstration but happened to get in with a tour of the fort. The guide was a fantastic story teller and full of knowledge. If you're nearby don't miss out and definitely do the tour of the fort."
