"We went to the Everyman Theatre for Rob Kingsley- ETA. We were seated in the balcony, which gave us a bird's eye view of the stage- closer to the stage than the Opera House. The seats were comfortable enough, albeit, two people would fight for the armrests! It could have done with a cupholder for my drink. The sound was fine, if only a bit low for the first half. The staff seem down to earth and friendly. The bar is cosy, but really needs a new wooden floor. The toilets are clean and well maintained. The theatre has a lovely ceiling and the old style makes it a real treat. It was really classy in that regard. Don't be fooled by the rather small exterior as you enter the lobby, as it goes way back. So, all in all, we were very happy, apart from a few small minor details. Keep up the good work, Everyman.. it really lives up to its name and is welcoming to 'every' man, woman and child. We will head back soon for the coming Beatles tribute. It would be fantastic for Christmas, providing they get the stage effects and backdrop right. I wish they did a Christmas Carol (Scrooge) musical.. oh well."
