Hi, I'm researching the options for taking a ferry between Doolin and either Inis Oirr or Inis Mor. It seems like Doolin Ferry is the only company that operates these trips. Pricing seems pretty high (37 Euro return to Inis Oirr and 47 Euro return to Inis Mor in August). Is…

Need some advice to organize our day trip to Aran Islands
We are traveling for the first time to Ireland in a couple of weeks. We are staying 3 days in Galway, and are planning to spend a day in Aran Islands. A bit confused about all the options to get there, so I would appreciate the advice on what would be the best for us: [Galway…
Doolin to Dingle - Car Ferry? or Drive around Limerick?
Hey guys, Sorry to bother but I'm feeling a bit nervous about this since we've never taken a car on a ferry before. We'll be in Ireland in 2 days (Yay!). A few days after that, we'll be driving from Doolin to Dingle. Initially we planned to drive around to Limerick and back…

Cliffs - Doolin? Galway? Aran Islands? Help.
Hi all - long time lurker of this page as going to Ireland has always been a dream of mine. My (American, lol) family takes heritage very seriously and has put a lot of effort into tracking our lineage and Irish/Dutch roots. My husband and I are spending our one year…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking views of the Cliffs of Moher from the sea, calling it an unforgettable and reasonably priced experience. The ferry journey itself is often described as fun and exhilarating, though the Atlantic waters can be choppy, leading to a wet ride for some. While the audio commentary can be difficult to hear, the overall consensus is overwhelmingly positive, with many recommending it as a must-do in Ireland.
"Lovely ferry ride out to see the Cliffs of Moher! Rough seas which made for a more fun experience and I got absolutely drenched by the water as we sat at the bottom deck right at the back! Incredible to see the Cliffs from the water!"
Liam Dunn
"Great experience and a fun ride out towards the cliffs. This is the Atlantic Ocean. Anyone who expects it to be calm should stick to lake tours. Got some great views of the cliffs and some information about them and the birds in the area. It's quite short, but really, it is all you need to see the cliffs."
Anthony O'Connell-Gros
"If you’re unsure whether to do this experience or not - let me tell you . . . DO IT! It was an unforgettable experience in Ireland! My friends and I took the Doolin Ferry to see the Cliffs of Moher and it is an unbelievable and unbeatable unique view of the cliffs. I think the cost of the ferry is extremely reasonable for the experience you receive and the views you get. I definitely will be doing this experience again!
Only recommendation - not sure if it was where I sat or because of the loudness, but it was unfortunately extremely hard to hear the information that was coming over the loud speaker during the tour past the Cliffs. I wish it was either louder or easier to understand, or perhaps a paper explanation for those with hearing issues (I personally don’t have any but I can only imagine for someone who does).
Only warnings - if you happen to get a sort of motion sickness, be prepared and take medicine! The waves are fairly large and definitely made some people feel unwell. I never once felt unsafe but definitely a consideration."
