Overall, it's a highly recommended experience for a unique and memorable day out in Dublin.
"I took my 6 year old niece for a pottery painting session on a Tuesday, and it was so good that I brought my 6 year old nephew on the Friday!
I can’t say enough about how warm, welcoming and inviting this gorgeous space and its staff are. The first session was 12 noon midweek and we were the only people there. We were even asked if we had any favourite songs to play while we painted!
While it was busier at the 3pm session on Friday, the gorgeous instructor who helped us out (and was very patient and kind with my ND nephew) found time to bring us down to see one of the cooled kilns and explain the firing process.
We need more creative businesses like this in Dublin and I hope they’re around for a long time so I can make it an annual activity!"

"One of my favourite places in Dublin, partly for the experience but also for the staff! They are so friendly and helpful! I have been several times myself and also brought family members. Was there today with my nieces and one of the staff (wish I'd gotten her name!) was just incredibly good. She made space for my sister to have her baby comfortably with us, and spent so much time helping my nieces pick what to paint, showing them how to use the tools, and talking to them about their painting, checking in on us several times as we painted. A great spot for something fun and creative in Dublin."

"I had a lot of fun making my piece with my friends and it made for a very enjoyable day out. The instructor was informative and helpful but when I asked the instructor if I can paint the mug I was told no (not sure why, maybe we were running out of time?!). But for the price I paid I would have expected a neat consistent varnish coat, unfortunately the coating is inconsistent and in some parts almost transparent. A friend of mine who made a clay handbag had the strap broken. Also a small part of my own mug was broken when I went to collect it. The staff at reception did not know how (I can appreciate this may partly be bad craftsmanship that cracked in the kiln but part of me wonders if more care could have been taken with the handling and painting of the pieces. Or it would have been helpful to know that having such a strap would make it more prone to cracking. Either way it was quite disappointing to just be given broken pieces with no explanation."
