Reviews Summary

Dunquin Pier is universally praised for its breathtaking, iconic views and dramatic coastal scenery, making it a must-see on the Slea Head Drive. Visitors love the unique steep path down to the pier and the panoramic vistas of the Atlantic and Blasket Islands. Some find the walk challenging, and amenities are basic, but the sheer beauty makes it unforgettable.

"Super gorgeous spot on the Slea Head Drive. Visually stunning, and the hike up and down the sheep trail is short and worth it. Nothing much at the bottom, but it’s a beautiful spot none the less. The brownie at the coffee stand is actually quite good."

Maddy Eichenberg

"Love it, it's a novelty to walk down it, especially since it's a very photographed and published image from the area. There are fabulous views of the Blasket Islands from above it, coffee available from a stall there. It's the port for the BLASKET ISLAND TOUR boat. You need to book and ring ahead as the crossing is weather dependent. No money is taken by the company on booking, they will take it on it day, which I think is super fair and decent of them. All they ask is that you cancel 48hrs before so they can resell the seats."

Alice

"Near where you can park your car coffee, tea and some snacks are available. You can drink them and amazed by the view. There are 3 bigger paths, on to the top of the right hill and left hill you can walk on spoongee grass and looking down to the harbor point for the the little ferry to the Blasket Island. Third is walking down on a very steep concrete path until totally you reach the water (on the first pics). Closest restaurant and toilet options is a bar."
