"Great beach .. blue flag.. historic dive platform.. when the tide is in !!

"My favorite place in all of Salthill Galway is the promenade. What an addition to any city. Running, walking or just taking in the view, it's fabulous. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants. My favorite has to be the Cremary, the pulled-pork is an assault on the taste buds. Outstanding efficient service"

"A lot of people walking along the prom, the beach wasnt very busy but that's to be expected in October, although there were a few brave people actually swimming in the sea. The sand is a silvery grey colour which seemed strange with us being used to golden beaches.
Prom and beaches were clean and the sea was very clear. Can imagine this is a very popular place in the summer."
