It’s a bit off the beaten path to find it, but even if you have a few hours to spare on a sunny day, then it’s an absolute must. A well-managed boardwalk (most of the way) around this pretty lake and when there is an abundance of rain, you’ll even see a waterfall as well. This time, it had been too dry, and the waterfall was but a trickle, but still a pretty, easy hike."

The hikes (more accurately walks) are good as well, a chance to experience the flora (and maybe fauna) up close. Highly recommend a visit!"

"One of the best kept secrets on the Dingle peninsula! You can drive all the way up the mountain on a gravel road to the Upper Lake. There you'll find the most enchanting forest with a crystal clear lake. There is a path built around the lake that can be easily traversed, it's a bit rustic and uneven, but most of the time there are handrails available. The forest looks like you should see fairies flitting past you. I've never seen anything quite like it before."
