"This is a very simple Ring Fort with thick stone high walls. It is a heavy duty structure made some time ago for defence. It would’ve taken a lot of manpower and effort to make this Fort. It is at the top of a hill the tallest around, with a 360° view all around. Anyone could clearly see if there was an enemy force coming to attack. I think a weak point would be there was no water supply. I believe parts have been rebuild. It is worthy of a visit if not to see the Fort, but to enjoy the fantastic view. It’s free to see."
