"340m long and rising 20m above Mulroy Bay the Harry Blaney Bridge somehow manages to sit both sympathetically and majestically in this beautiful part of Donegal. Best appreciated on foot with pavements on both sides of the carriageway and an interesting information board located at a viewing point of the Fanad side of the bridge. It's certainly a huge improvement on the long journey that it used to be between the two points."

"The Harry Blaney Bridge was opened in 2009 and spans 340 meters across Mulroy Bay in North Donegal. It links the Rosguill and Fanad peninsulas. It's a impressive structure and is a huge landmark for the area. The bridge was named after a local Finnia Fail political Harry Blaney who served as a TD."
