"On July 20, 2023 I entered this facility with my service dog and had no problems at 1st. We walked the entire gallery and were moments from being done. All of a sudden I hear a loud "UH!" from near the counter and everyone got quiet. I turned around and the lady working (4:30 pm July 20, 2023) was staring at me with a very nasty/rude look on her face - she was sneering at me and my service dog. "Is there a problem?" I asked and she returned with "we don't normally allow dogs" in a VERY rude tone. Everyone in the gallery watched as I - a disabled individual with her service dog - asked "would you like us to leave?" In a very kind tone with a smile. Then she told me in a disgusted tone "yes" and gestured for me to leave - all while sneering at me as though myself and my service dog were disgusting. It was the most embarrassing moment I have ever had as a disabled traveler. I left the shop and promptly started crying in embarrassment and still am crying writing this. Please teach staff to treat others with kindness and not disgust simply because they have an assistance animal. My entire experience in Kenmare was ruined from this interaction. Additionally, please add "no dogs allowed" signs if this is your staff's response to seeing a dog. I'm not only appalled by this interaction, but saddened and hurt emotionally."
