"I had an incredible time at the Midleton Distillery Experience! The history of the place is absolutely fascinating – it’s amazing to see how whiskey has been made over the years and to walk through the heritage of such an iconic Irish brand. The staff and tour guides are excellent: really well trained, knowledgeable, and so helpful, which makes the whole experience even better.
The main building and bar area have a very modern and cool vibe, which contrasts beautifully with the historic parts of the distillery. And of course, the whiskey tasting at the end is great fun – a real highlight of the visit.
I’d honestly recommend it to everyone, even if you don’t like whiskey or have never tried it before. It’s a brilliant experience, full of history, culture, and a touch of fun at the end"

"My husband's grandparents worked here so the connection and their family name are literally etched into the heritage of this monumental distillery. I always come here to pay my respects and celebrate the homage when I visit Cork as it's such an enriching  experience to learn how they cultivate, making the whisky embedded in the history of Ireland and Irish whiskey.
The distillery in Midleton is only accessible by car or booking a tour on the bus, but it's well worth it. There are great local restaurants, coffee shops, gift shops close by The distillery also has a great coffee shop and restaurant, the food was also really delicious.
The shop is spectacular. I personally love viewing all the other whisky labels and so much more comes out of this distillery including Jameson. I also love how they make their own gin through the method and madness label.
The bar is exquisite a perfect way to savour the experience of having a drop anyway you like.
The tour is well worth it as you get to learn the entire process. And the people that tell their story about The distillery are very passionate and knowledgeable. Very engaging with the tour group.
