"Fascinating little free museum jam packed with information and exhibits relating to County Sligo. The displays are a bit old fashioned, but it's worth taking time at each one. There's wonderful exhibits about the great Irish figures of William Butler Yeats, Countess Markievicz and her sister Eva Gore Booth. It's a very small museum and probably not going to interest young children, but it promotes all that's good and great about Sligo. The museum closes for lunch, so plan your visit accordingly."
