Lewis Godfray

"Simple yet elegant church. Must see the tomb of James Rices, where he designed his macabre tomb before he left for the pilgrim to Santiago di Compostella. Supposedly the famouse wedding of Strongbow and Aoife was held on this site, in the old church that has been built over."

Nee Shen Ho

"Located in the viking triangle, this is a must visit, to complete the exploration of the area, as this site is where strongbow married Aoifa, an irish princess in 1170.

The church was built in the 1700's in the Georgian style, during our visit we were treated to an organ practise session."
