The views across the water are stunning, and the historic atmosphere makes it feel really special. Parking is just along the roadside, and the trail is well-marked and easy to follow. A lovely escape into nature with a touch of history – highly recommend!"

"We had a fab evening at the Vertry reservoir. It was buggy friendly, once you don't mind a bitta muck. We had a 3yr old and 1.5 Yr old and they walked the whole thing. Gorgeous state of the art playgrounds for all ages, we brought some lunch and snacks and just took our time. We had a coffee in Roundwood after. It was the perfect day out 😁"

"Very good place to walk and swim. I wish there was boating here as well.
Look at the map before you start trek it’s really long and a small detour will take you 5 kms extra.
So much dog poop people just don’t clean it. Rest apart very good place for a walk. Calm and less crowded"
