"The hike to the beach is amazing. The beach is rocky but lovely (bring water shoes). I went in up to my ankles, but the rocks were rough on my feet. We saw dolphins playing in the water where the beach water met with the sea water line. So exciting!!
There were people swimming in the water.
The house from "The Waking of Ned Devine" is located around the corner from here."

"This is a rocky cove but wonderful to visit. There is a cafe at the top but this is being refurbished (as at August 2025). Walking down to the rocky cove is bracing as it standing close to the water. Dress appropriately (whatever the season) and enjoy this stunning area where once 2 great tectonics plate met (how romantic)."
