What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Haifa Cruise Terminal offers a central location but is frequently criticized for its poor infrastructure, long walks, and chaotic passenger processing, especially during embarkation and disembarkation. While the port itself has historical significance, the terminal experience can be stressful and disorganized, with limited amenities and challenging accessibility for some travelers.
"Beautiful port! A little bit of a walk to the ship through a maze of passages but very stress free! There is a small duty free just before you get on and off the ship, where you can make purchases. If you need help they have golf carts to transport passengers that need it. The port is in central Haifa, which is a great city to spend some time."

"A cruise terminal with incredibly poor infrastructure. A tough spot for the elderly to embark on a cruise. A one-way foot bridge leads to the terminal (which still consists of several tents). Until 11 AM blocked from the city access and reserved for disembarking passengers with no space for embarking passengers to wait in any comfort (like sitting in shade). No space for taxis, with traffic constantly honking at those trying to pick up or drop off passengers. Parking lot too small. No good drop off for passengers. Easy access via the train station though (walking distance), but the station dates from British mandate times and is too small to accommodate the number of travelers. Also has no waiting room or sufficient space to sit down. Once across the bridge: Efficient embarkation processing, but dismissive impolite staff."

"Definitely not the best check in experience. There are so many rounds of security checks before getting to the cruise. Staff members are very dismissive. The cruise building was closed so we were shuttled from a tent to another tent. Then we had to walk across the port to get to the boat."
