"This is an incredibly boring and poorly organized museum. Don't waste your time or money on it.
The permanent exhibition consists of photographs from the early days of Israel, pre- and post-indepence. There are walls with photos and a nearby panel of QR codes. The explanations are accessed by scanning QR codes on the wall. There is no indication of which code explains which picture, so you have to keep trying until you find the explanation of whatever picture interests you. The photographs are excellent, but they need context. Needless to say, we gave up quickly and left.
The explanations in English are too short, just a few words, If you read Hebrew, you get a bit more text.
There are no seats anywhere in the exhibit area. If you cannot stand longer than a few minutes, like us seniors, you are even more motivated to leave quickly.
There are six levels of underground parking. We found a space only on the lowest level. The parking garage is in an excellent location to visit the city center, but it is expensive.
There is a coffee shop downstairs, but we did not visit it."
