Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Mizgaga Museum for its insightful exhibits on Tantura's Palestinian history and its location within a fascinating historic glass factory building. The proximity to the beach and the educational value for children are also frequently highlighted. Some note that the focus is more on history than glassmaking itself.
"I really enjoyed the big room at the museum where they have all those photos and memories of the Palestinians that lived in Tantura before the Zionists destroyed it. Very well located museum, at walking distance from the MASS GRAVE where hundreds of Tanturaโs residents were murdered and buried.
I recommend the visit to this museum to everyone who wants to know more about the history of Tantura and, of course, the glass bottles."

"The Mazgaga Museum is located in Kibbutz Nachsholim, on the Carmel beach. It is located in a very impressive stone building. The construction of the building was initiated by Baron Edmond de Rothschild in order to found a factory to produce glass bottles for the wineries he owned. After several years the factory was closed and the building was abandoned. Today the building is used as a charming and very interesting museum. The museum has various exhibits and archaeological finds from the area. We took part in a fascinating tour of the place. Highly recommended."
