Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Ramat Gan Museum of Israeli Art to be an intimate yet engaging space, housed in a beautifully restored Bauhaus building. While some note potential issues with temperature control and the need for audio guide hygiene, the quality and originality of the exhibitions are frequently praised, offering a unique glimpse into contemporary Israeli art.

"A thoughtfully restored Bauhaus-era building houses this museum, showcasing rotating contemporary Israeli art exhibitions across multiple mediums — it’s intimate but deeply engaging."

"The nice exhibition and shouldn't be compared with others overseas (like VAN GOGH) because then you may be disappointed. Good and kind welcome from the staff. The visit to all the halls takes about 3 hours. In every hall you get headphones (recommend to clean them before use!) but it is also possible without, to hear what's going on, just keep in mind that people bring children who are less interested in the exhibition and they start making noises and running around like playground (it's a shame that there is no consideration and the museum has its hands tied on the issue). Those suffering from certain illnesses keep informed, I didn't find anything written and the staff doesn't really warn. The museum has 3 floors of the exhibition, there is an elevator -disabled friendly- and a staff member who can explain a bit about what you are going to see. Try to buy tickets with discounts from all kinds of clubs, including discounts at credit card companies. We paid NIS 49 a ticket through Isracard. Keep in mind: it's a bit cold due to the air conditioning in one of the halls were the exhibition takes about an hour and a half, so come prepared with clothing. Second, there is an additional NIS 10 for a VR device which is a different experience (I wasn't so impressed). There are full of coffee shops and food around, including a coffee shop on the roof of the museum. Enjoy !"
