"Beautiful historical gem of the town."

"If you're traveling to Southern Italy, and you love the eclectic, you must see the city of trulli, in Alberobello. The trulli are architecturally unique to Puglia, the heel of the boot, and were built at different times, some say during the neolithic period, some say 1000 AD, and others say during the 1400's. Either way, I recommend a visit at night, when all the lights decorate the city like a sparkling treasure! I stayed in this trullo in Cisternino, a town just Southeast of Alberobello."
