"unfortunately the classical age expositiom was in renovation. the prehistoric exhibition was large and interesting with a lot of explanations and 3D models to understand better the pieces at the exhibition. Still the contents were too technical with exceeding attention about stone instruments that is any difficult with a lot of names. The location is not the best, outdoor areas dirty and in disorder, pity, Altamura old town has got a lot of beautiful buildings, museum is located in a brutalist building of modern era ."

Waste of public money in a shameful manner. Have a look at Museo Baldassarre, this could be the benchmark.
