I would like to add sadly though our mother was never able to visit his Son & Wife, Daughter & Granddaughter were truly blessed by being able to find his Last Resting Place."

"My Wife's Great Uncle Flight Sergeant Frank Raven Young is buried here. 1912-1945. He had been in the RAF from 16 years old. Sadly he was shot by a sniper 27th March 1945 just a month before the end of the war.. Not sure if any of his family ever made it here, we will try one day. If anyone happens to come across the grave, a photo would be much appreciated.

These men were buried so far from home, making it next to impossible for their loved ones to visit their graves.
I lived in Ancona in for about a year.
The car wash is right next to it, and I used to visit the cemetery whenever we washed the car...because I could.
It was my honour to do so.
