Reviews Summary

Mercato delle Erbe is a historic market with great potential, praised for its authentic atmosphere and quality fresh produce, seafood, and local specialties. While some areas could benefit from renovation, visitors appreciate the genuine experience and the delicious food options available, making it a worthwhile visit for food enthusiasts.

"This 1928 built Art Deco iron and glass market needs the local authority to invest in its infrastructure. Character of times past resonates within its structure and it could so easily become a well used space once again. Yes there are stall holders here in maybe 20% of the space selling vegetables, meat and fish. There is one small and little used bar where you can get a couple of glasses of excellent verdicchio for €5. But the potential to create markets such as exists in Modena and Bologna is there. Come on Ancona create something great in this historic structure"
