What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Capo d'Anzio Beach is praised for its beautiful coastline and the vibrant atmosphere of its nearby port. Visitors highlight the exceptional quality of seafood at local restaurants, with many dishes receiving rave reviews. While some note slightly higher prices and occasional service inconsistencies, the overall experience is considered very positive, especially for those seeking authentic Italian seaside charm and delicious cuisine.
"A nice restaurant with tasty food near the port (though without a sea view). Clean, cozy, and overall a pleasant place to dine.
However, there are a few downsides.
The prices are slightly higher than in other places, probably due to the high demand. The staff were generally polite, but we did notice a slightly condescending attitude from one or two of them — perhaps because we were tourists and not locals.
Maybe it was because we ordered limoncello at the beginning of the meal, which is not typical in Italy, where it’s usually served at the end.
Still, this seems more like a personal issue rather than a reflection of the establishment — after all, a manager can’t completely shape someone’s personality.
As for the food:
The tuna was absolutely amazing — bravo!
The rice in the crustacean sauce was good, though we would have preferred a more intense flavor.
Overall, a good restaurant.
I lowered my rating slightly because of the behavior of a few staff members.
Recommended — especially for those who don’t mind spending a bit more."

"This restaurant is far one of the best seafood restaurant I have ever been in Italy. The vibe is absolutely fine dining but the portions are bigger, we had tuna tartare and risotto both taste divine, the wine selection is simply amazing and very unique. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is super kind. The prices are super fair compare to the level of service. Also dog friendly which for me is an extra plus."

"We had a fantastic meal at Capo D'Anzio. The food was tasty and artfully presented and prices were reasonable. Service was very friendly, but could have been a little more attentive.
We sat outside. It was a beautiful evening and the restaurant was full. Good wine selection. Had my favourite Abruzzo Rose from Villa Gemma"
