"Santa Maria del Sasso is a sanctuary run by Dominican friars, about 1 km outside of Bibbiena. It's a beautiful spot where the Casentino nature embraces the religious sense of God. The 16th-century cloister and the lower church, with a wooden statue of the Madonna del Buio next to the apparition of little Catherine, are very interesting. A chat with Dominican friar Giacomo, of Pakistani origin, was also excellent."
