Reviews Summary

Visitors appreciate the clear signposting and friendly staff, though a strong emphasis is placed on the need for protection against ticks and mosquitos.
"Large naturepark with a good signposting (you can't get lost here) and beautiful sights to see.
Be careful to wear long pants, a hat and something to scare away the mosquitos (if you don't have any, they sell bugspray at the entrance). Staff spoke English and were kind enough to advise which route was most pretty (spoiler: it's the green one)."

"DRESS WELL (Tick encounter)!
The park is truly beautiful. We did not take a guided tour but did the walking path independently. The path is well marked and relatively easy to do. It took us around 2.5 hours in total with a leisure walk and stops to do birdwatching. I recommend bringing binoculars (we had them and the sighting were amazing) as some birds are far away in the lagoon to observe with the plain eye well. We saw two early arriving flamingos flying in the distance. Beautiful. We also saw a kingfisher fishing in the water, amazing experience!!
HOWEVER AND TRULY IMPORTANT, I highly recommend bringing long trousers or long socks and insect repellent, we had at least 5-6 tick encounters through the walking path (especially in the grassland area), we could see them crawl up our legs (a bit scary tbh). It took a bit of the fun away as we were not adequately dressed for it and had to constantly stop to do a tick check up. So just dress well and enjoy the nature in peace =) .
For the rest, an amazing experience!"
