What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Blue Grotto is a must-see for its unparalleled azure waters and unique entrance experience. Visitors are captivated by the magical glow and the thrill of entering by rowboat. However, be prepared for potential cancellations due to sea conditions and factor in extra costs for the rowboat fee.
"Great place, but look out for jellyfish. Need a boat"
Alexandr Gerasimov
"Triangular entrance, about ten metres above the water level. The cave, which the sea penetrates for its entire length, develops almost parallel to the wall of the external cliff, however there does not appear to be any other communication with the outside other than the entrance. Inside, successive chambers can be distinguished which can be identified with the spindles of the theory developed by Maucci (51) which prove the non-marine origin of the cavity. Towards sunset, given the orientation of the cave, the "blue cave" phenomenon is accentuated giving rise to very suggestive light effects."
Euge Nismo
"Blue Grotto is so named for the unique color of the water that reflects off the rock walls.
A beautiful stop on the 3-island tour, but it's a shame we couldn't explore it."
