What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Parco delle Terme di Boario is appreciated for its large, tree-filled grounds and children's play areas, offering a pleasant natural escape. However, some visitors express disappointment with the park's maintenance, noting areas of neglect and limited operational water fountains, leading to a mixed overall impression.
"Nice but not so well maintained, pity."
Zoltan Szlahotka
"Coolest place to Be."
Phoenix Arise
"In Boario Terme for the first time, as soon as we arrived we went to the thermal park... and it was a disappointment... starting from the dome of the temple that symbolizes the park and Boario, peeling and dirty, and moving on to the fountains that are supposed to dispense water, but they are all closed. There is only one where you can take a sip of water inside the park.
Overall, the entire park has an air of desolation and neglect... everything seems stuck in the '70s. After leaving the park, we wanted to take a stroll into the center... but apparently it doesn't exist.
Our only consolation was being able to dine at the excellent restaurant next to the park."

Understanding the Thermal Aspect
This limited availability of drinking fountains has been a point of disappointment for some visitors who expected a more immersive thermal experience within the park itself. It's important for visitors to manage expectations regarding the 'thermal' aspect of the park, focusing more on its role as a large, green recreational area rather than a fully functional thermal spa accessible for drinking water throughout.
Navigating Park Maintenance and Visitor Experience
Despite these criticisms, the park's large size and abundance of trees are consistently praised, especially on hot days. Visitors recommend comfortable shoes for exploring the grounds and suggest managing expectations regarding the upkeep. The presence of children's rides adds to its appeal as a family-friendly destination, even if some areas require attention.
