"Superb museum of local industrial history, with fascinating exhibits labelled in Italian and English. Brickmaking and silk weaving were just two of Bologna's former key industries..We recommend you take a guided tour."

"Amazing museum, it has so many machines and a lot of them can be started, it’s a very interactive museum. The silk mill is something unic, I don’t think you can find it anywhere else. The stuff is so friendly and helpful, even we were just two persons a guide came and explained to us how the mill works. I strongly recommend to visit this museum when in Bologna"

cristiana bogaciu

"I strongly encourage to visit the museum. Some of the machines in the museum still work and you can turn them on, especially reconstructed silk mill is amazing. The history of Bologna's silk mills, Aldini Valeriani institute and history of packaging machines are described here vastly.
With Bologna Welcome Card Easy the entrance is free of charge. Each exhibit has description in English. I think that you need more than 3 hours if you want to read all."
