Isarco-Talvera Confluence

"In the middle of the city and yet a piece of wilderness - this is what the confluence of the Talfer (Talvera) and Eisack (Isarco) on the southern edge of Bolzano's old town presents itself when the water level is right. From the Drusus Bridge you can take the footpath above the Talfer a little further south to a small, park-like green area. Here you can make your way through the sometimes dense bushes to the actual confluence. Attention: If there is heavy rainfall and the water level is high, you should exercise appropriate caution."
