It is located on the left side of the Temo river, just beyond the Ponte Vecchio.
Probably, they already existed in Roman times, but they were certainly an important activity for the inhabitants of Bosa, from 1700 to 1962, when the last active tannery closed.
Today, having become a national monument, they also host a tannery museum."
