Reviews Summary

Cala Serena is a stunning, natural beach with incredibly turquoise waters and beautiful mountain views, offering a truly picturesque escape. While the hike can be challenging for some and the beach is small, its untouched beauty and the option to discover secluded coves make it a highly recommended destination. Be prepared for potential strong winds, which can impact the beach experience. Reddit

"The beach is really great - it’s pure nature, turquoise water and a good view on the mountains on the side. Not too crowded and the hike from the parking there is easy and takes 15 mins. It starts roughly at (41.2226257, 9.4589345). The parking is free, semi legal at the side of the unpaved road. The big downside was that at the end of August it was extremely windy there - the windiest beach of all I’ve been to in Sardinia. You can only put an umbrella using master fortification skills. Swimming was okay but the area is pretty small and therefore it’s not the most exciting adventure if you don’t want to go too far into the open sea. Overall a really beautiful beach worth the visit and I can recommend it but unfortunately has some downsides."

"Lovely beach, and there are lots of small covers on the way that are even more picturesque, often with space only for a few towels. Satellite view on Google maps makes finding them much more easy."

David Gowenlock

"The place itself is incredible, incontaminated beach and sea with a fantastic turquoise color.
You need to be aware that there is a path (yellow one) to arrive there that is not easy for kids or elderly persons.
The sea there is worth the trip."
