What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the spectacular location and breathtaking views from Pisciadù Lake and Rifugio Pisciadù, especially during sunrise and sunset. The challenging via ferrata ascent is a highlight for adventurers. However, some guests report issues with unwelcoming staff, cramped and noisy rooms, and limited drying space for gear.
"Excellent location in just at the top of the via ferrata. The views are spectacular with lots of tracking routes to pick from. The rooms are a bit basic and the toilet is on a different floor. Overall if you are backpacking in the area this is a great choice to rest for the night and carry on."
Hillel Maoz
"An incredible location up on the Pisciadu plateau. The most incredible sunset and sunrise. Unfortunately the staff were not very welcoming. And the drying room was tiny for 40 soaked hikers - pools of water everywhere and very limited drying space. The food was nice considering the limitations of provisions. Just about enough to feel full. The rooms are cramped with very limited hanging space - there needs to be more hooks in the rooms and the hallways."
Suzy Gaskell
"Such a nice little hut at the top of the mountain! Staff is friendly, prices are very reasonnable, and food is very good! The view is great, they have spots inside and a big terrace outside. Qe really enjoyed our lunch today."
