"To reach the Zancale Tower, you have to walk a short distance. It's magical, immersed in nature, just like a hike—short but intense. First, you start from the public beach. On the left side, there's a huge rock. Walk into the water right next to it, just long enough to cross it and reach another tiny beach. There, there are wooden steps that lead to a path surrounded by greenery that leads to a very unusual tree. It's short, and its distinctive feature is its branching, spreading and growing horizontally rather than vertically, and its foliage is full of greenery. Passing under this tree, you find yourself in front of the Zancale Tower. Walking around it, you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Among the rocks, the sea, and above all, the brightness of the sun, make the whole scene a fantastic one."

They were designed so that each tower could communicate visually with both adjacent towers, transmitting messages, which could thus travel much faster than a messenger on horseback.
