Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Museo Antonio Manzi as a 'little-known priceless treasure' and a 'hidden gem' within the historic Pratello villa. The versatility of artist Antonio Manzi, showcased through over 100 works including stunning marble sculptures, is a major highlight. Many appreciate the free admission and the unique experience of potentially touring with the artist himself. However, concerns are raised about the city administration's promotion of the museum and the upcoming relocation due to villa restoration, which may lead to a temporary storage of artworks.

"I recently learned about this master of art. I visited the museum, which is about to close because the municipal library will be relocated to the villa that houses it after restoration. Unfortunately, the magnificent works will be stored for at least two years before they can be re-displayed in the adjacent building, before the restoration is complete.
I recommend anyone interested to visit now to admire the versatility of this artist, which ranges from painting to sculpture and countless other forms of artistic expression.
Highly recommended.
My only regret is the city administration's inattention and disinterest in promoting such artistic excellence, a value for our region."

Costantino Bogani

"The museum does not have a director who promotes visits. Master Antonio Manzi takes care of it directly and donated his works to the Municipality of Campi Bisenzio.
A little-known priceless treasure.
I hope that future administrators will be able to enhance this priceless reality. Maestro Manzi's self-portrait is in the Uffizi.
On March 17th the Via Crucis will be inaugurated at the Pieve di Santo Stefano."

Ornella Mercuri

"The Antonio Manzi museum, located in the beautiful Pratello villa in Campi Bisenzio, once owned by the Rucellai and now the seat of the city council, is truly surprising.

It surprises for the variety of works and for the versatility of this contemporary artist, who in 109 works exhibited in five rooms accompanies the visitor on an ideal journey through his artistic life, from the early works to the works of the last years, created in many different techniques, in a continuous becoming that releases a hypnotic force that strikes the visitor to the heart."
