Honeymoon in Dolomites, Italy

Hello, My partner and I are looking to ride 3 days in Dolomites, Italy during our honeymoon! We will likely stay in the area for 5-6 days total before we head south to beaches/relaxation. We ride in British Columbia Canada, mostly North shore. He is an advanced rider and I am…

Reviews Summary

Visitors appreciate the potential of Fassa Bike Park Belvedere for its stunning Dolomite setting and the variety of trails available. However, many express disappointment with trail signage, inconsistent maintenance, and the less-than-ideal gondola access for bikes, especially considering the ticket price.

"Half of the trails closed due to forest work , reconstruction or UCI event. The price for the bike park the same…."

Szymon Pawlik

"Disappointing, for the following reasons:
-It takes too long (15-25min) from Recol to Col dei Rossi; here the bike park lines start. The "Funivia" is not ideal for a "bike park". Though, a chair lift (more appropiate for a bike park; but unfortunately not operating) is just in the near.
-Current trail directions are partly missing (3-Sep-2020): the infinity trail crosses a construction site; the start of the infinity trail at Pordoi is hard to find. In both cases, we did not find any directions/signalling. The free map one gets it lacks a lot of details. A couple of more signs would help.
-Current trail state/conditions are missing online. The last part of the 9.90 was closed; here, it would help to get this information online (for better planning).
-The man-built trails (for all, Lezuo and All Fever) could show more flow and be more fun. No features and inappropiate angles and steepness. The infinity trail takes the ski slope for more than 200Hm.
- Only one bike wash lot at Recol (not at the bottom!). Moreover, trails 9.90 and electric line going to Canazei (bottom) are not expected to be dry on a day.
-For 38EUR I would expect more maintainance work. Two steel cables are arising on the 9.90 trail and may be a potential danger for riders (as of 4-Sep, people of the cableway have been informed).
It lies on their hands to make it better/safer."

"Already all trails closed, due to a bit snow on top."
