"Breathtaking location, the path to get there is comfortable once you arrive, but after a beautiful sunny day, the climb back up is quite challenging. At least there are some steps, and the path isn't dangerous.
That said, the effort is worth it."

It's a shame for the locals, who, with the help of the police, only fine tourists' cars for highly questionable traffic violations (I think in Trieste they could fine half the cars parked near the city's numerous intersections). Advice for those coming from out of town: stay away, travel a few kilometers further and go to Slovenia, where they know how to welcome you much, much better!"
