Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Raibl Mine Museum for its excellent guided tours, rich history, and unique underground cheese-aging project. The guides are often highlighted for their passion and knowledge. However, some find the ticket price a bit high for the duration, and communication for booking can be challenging.
"Excellent tour of the mines and the guide Giuseppe was excellent, explaining the history of the mine and some historical facts as well. I didn't know it was used on WW1 from Austrian troops to attack the Italian army. Interesting project with a local cheese producer, curing the cheese in the mines. The nearby museum is well worth a visit too. Definitely recommended if you are in the area. It is very cold inside, about 6 degrees, so bring the arm clothes. The air inside the mine is so pure that it is possible to book some therapies, for people with asthma or allergies."
