Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Chiesa di San Tommaso Tres for its breathtaking panoramic views of the Val di Non and Brenta Dolomites, making it a highly recommended scenic stop. The church's historical frescoes and Romanesque bell tower add to its charm, while convenient parking and a pleasant rest area with picnic tables enhance the visitor experience. It's a peaceful, accessible spot perfect for a brief respite.

"A beautiful, isolated church, visible from the road, with convenient parking nearby. Always open, it can be visited. The cemetery is adjacent, and turning around offers a breathtaking view of the Val di Non. Built in the 14th century for wayfarers and pilgrims traveling along the ancient Via Imperiale, it is dedicated to the patron saint of travelers, whose name is also depicted on the façade. Restored after years of neglect in the early 2000s."

"The church is located just outside the village of Cavedago, on a hill overlooking the Val di Non and the Brenta Dolomites, at a strategic crossroads. Recent studies indicate that its origins are ancient (circa 1300), and it was a stopping point for pilgrims and travelers passing through. Built in a simple and linear late Gothic style, the exterior features a canopy supported by two pillars and a Renaissance portal bearing the date 1546, when the church was renovated and expanded; the interior has a single bay. Both inside and out, there are frescoes depicting Saint Christopher and Saint Vigilius. The bell tower is Romanesque in style with a pyramid roof."

Anna Rita Certo

"A small 13th-century church with a truly evocative view. History buffs can admire medieval paintings inside. But the real highlight is the view: from here, you can admire the Val di Non with its mountains. A truly evocative place. (The picnic tables and small children's play area are much appreciated.)"
