"I was stationed at Aviano Air Base from 1986 to 1992. My friends and I visited the Castello often. Many times we would take the newcomers on road trips around the countryside and one of the stops was the Castello di Conegliano. We would explore the inside and go up to the top of the tower. Then we would go to the small cafe at the wall overlooking the wine valley below and enjoy a glass of house wine or two."

"Definitely make this stop on your list! You got to explore the garden and the castle as long as you want! The history is an English and Italian! The art is beyond! You also have the option of a wonderful little restaurant on the property that you should stop by before or after or both! I also think it's important to note that there's a restroom in the restaurant. The service is impeccable! Friendly staff and multilingual! At the top of the castle if you're not afraid of heights is a most romantic lookout point!"
