We come to Cortina twice a year (always avoiding school holidays).
On the negative side, the chair lifts are now slow and old and could do with an upgrade. Balance this against the absolutely stunning scenery, the snow-sure slopes, very friendly and helpful Dolomiti staff and most importantly there is almost no one else here.

There is currently a huge amount of development going on down in the town as they prepare for next year's Olympics, and this may well mean that the area becomes busier for a couple of seasons.
